Finding the best possible Jersey City, NJ relocation company for your move is not as easy as it sounds. With dozens of movers competing for each move and every Google search yielding hundreds of results, how can you know which one to choose? This Alpha Moving and Storage article offers some concise answers to the above question.
Searching for New Jersey Based Movers
The first thing to do is to make sure the companies you are dealing with are actually located in Jersey City. Many companies advertise their services in various cities, some of them located dozens of miles away. Other companies even use a bogus local address to lure customers into selecting them. So be sure to check and double check the physical address of each company you are dealing with.
Local and Long Distance Service Providers
Not all companies are equipped to perform long distance moving. Some companies specialize only in local moving, which is technically easier. Long distance moving requires experience, know-how and equipment. Be sure to check that the mover you are dealing with has plenty of experience in conducting long distance moving.
Making an Educated Decision
You should get about three to five estimates from local Jersey City companies that have a good reputation, can offer you references and have enough experience conducting your particular type of relocation. Before making a decision, you will need to sit down and compare all basic charge units. Don’t forget to look at the fine print and check for additional and hidden fees. Make sure that you understand all the fees for packing and packing materials.
