There is no argument that packing is the single most important aspect of any move, whether local or long distance. There are, however, several approaches to packing with some customers preferring to do all of it by themselves, while others will prefer to have their professional mover pack everything for them.

Self Packing
When you are packing by your own, the most important points to consider are:
- Make sure that you use only new and high quality packing materials. Used boxes and poor quality materials may result in damages.
- Plan your packing schedule in advance and don’t delay all the boxing and wrapping to the last minute. Write down all your packing tasks and create a checklist.
- It is recommended to begin to pack at least two or three weeks in advance.

- If you have any antiques or items that will require special handling, have your moving company take a look at them to check if any crating or special handling is necessary.
