It goes without saying that this will be possible only if you’ve selected a reputable company and made sure that it has local headquarters in your area. But once you’ve made sure that the company you chose is indeed a reputable one, a lot of the rest depends on you.
The accuracy of the information you provide your moving service provider and your cooperation can make all the difference between a successful and an unsuccessful move.
Providing Correct Information and Updates
Inventory, packing needs, and access issues are the three main areas you will need to provide careful information about.
Any inventory changes should be immediately reported to your relocation service provider. Such fluctuations can actually change the final price of the move and reporting them in advance can assist you in avoiding unwanted surprises.
The same is true regarding packing needs. If you initially indicated to your movers that you will do the packing yourself and ended up wanting them to do some packing for you, be sure to let them know about it in advance.
