We used alpha movers last year to move. From initial consult to final move they were awesome! They came in, wrapped and packed and were ready to go! They also knew the ins and outs of where we were moving to and who to conact ao it was very helpful!

Alpha Moving provided a smooth and seamless moving experience with care taken when packing delicate items and loading and unloading the truck. I will be using them again for my next move.

I’ve use Alpha a few times and my daughter hired them as well. They’re reliable, efficient, friendly and professional. Excellent customer service as well. Heather & Bill were a joy to do business with. Moving is hard, Alpha made it less hard. 😉 I hopefully will not need to move again anytime soon, but I would 100% recommend Alpha Moving & Storage.

The guys are great! I highly recommend them and it's the second time we used Alpha Moving & Storage. They were on top of everything and they were prompt at giving us information when we asked for it. The team works hard, they're super careful with the details, and very efficient. So happy we hired them!!

It’s so hard to know who to trust when it comes to movers, especially when you’re new to a state - Alpha came very highly recommended, and the recommendations did not disappoint. The team was professional, careful with my items, friendly, and efficient. I would recommend Alpha to anyone, and would absolutely use them again, though I hope it’s many, many years before my next move!

2026 update (it’s a long one, but a good one, and hopefully worth the read):

Alpha might be the best in the game. The last time, they were unloading a POD after a cross-country move, but this time I was only moving locally and wanted the works. Alpha is truly capable of everything, they even worked to make sure I had someone on this moving crew who was on the crew that moved me in in 2023.

I had inquired about packing services, so they sent a friendly estimator to my place to do a site assessment and quote prior to the move. I was honestly floored by how much it made sense to go with the quote that included full packing services (the only downside is, packing services are the BEST and now I’ll need that for all future moves).

The day of the move, Alpha showed up on time, and got right to it while I got to sit on my couch. In just over 4 hours, they had packed my entire 3bed/2bath condo (plus things from the basement), and gotten it all onto the truck. They took such obvious care during the process, despite how quickly they were going!

There was a quick “hey, we can also unpack if you decide that’s something you’d like to add today, think about if you want [I did want] and let us know,” conversation, but nothing that felt like a sales pitch.

So now, unfortunately, not only can I not do a future move without packing services, I can no longer do a future move without unpacking services.

So we get to our destination (hopefully you’re still with me, this is where it gets good).

There are boxes. Everywhere. But, other than maybe two boxes from the basement, my square footage hasn’t changed from my former apartment to this one.

And then I go into the hallway. And there are, you guessed it, more boxes. Maybe 15 feet worth.

And all I’m thinking is “there’s no way all these boxes are going to fit in the apartment. It’s already full.”

And then the unpacking starts, and suddenly boxes are being broken down left and right (because Alpha also takes the packing materials with them - let me tell you how nice it is to spend the first night in a new place not surrounded by boxes!!) and new boxes are being brought in because now there’s space. They’re making sure things go to the right rooms, they’re reassembling all of my furniture (as a single woman, I could’ve cried tears of joy in that moment), and they’re good-naturedly giving me advice (that I had asked for) about the best layout for my furniture.

Not only that, but I had planned to have a few pieces disposed of (Alpha handled disposals, they can truly do it all), and made a last-minute decision to add something else to that list halfway through the day. These guys weren’t fazed in the slightest.

I’ve moved more than 15 times in my adult life, and this was the fourth time I’ve hired movers. This was the first time I actually had fun with my move. It’s a Friday, I moved Tuesday of this week, and everything is organized and put away, which means I get to spend my weekend decorating and napping instead of wondering what box the batteries for the remote are in.

Alpha didn’t lose or break a single item. From an individually-wrapped flea preventative my dog needs that slipped out of its box, to a treasured hand-blown glass bowl, my belongings were in the BEST hands. I’ll admit, I was curious to see how they’d do with something more than “just” unpacking a POD (don’t get me wrong, that was still a bigger job than I would’ve wanted to take on), but they absolutely have all aspects of a move handled. Like I said in 2023, I hope it’s a LONG time until my next move, but I’ll use Alpha again and again without question.

This was our third time using Alpha Moving! We’ve used them for out of state and local moves. Their team is incredibly professional and makes the pain of moving so much easier. We would highly recommend to anyone needing help with a move.
